· Since 1976 weddings and receptions have been performed - we have a spotless reputation and many references from satisfied customers.

· This is a privately owned estate - not a commercial entity - therefore we are able to offer an "incomparable" setting at a "competitive" value and privacy not afforded at most facilities.

· Our "Packages" save you ANXIETY, TIME and MONEY! We provide everything necessary for your wedding and reception (except invitations, wedding attire and guest register) in ONE COMPLETE PACKAGE and see that each detail is carried out to perfection without concern on your part.

· For your convenience, we set aside one afternoon and evening each week to show the estate as it would be on your wedding day. We will have our photographer's albums to view, and wedding cake to taste. Usually our caterer and minister are available to answer your questions in more detail.

· The professional manner in which all last minute details are handled allows the bride and her entourage to relax and enjoy the spirit of this once-in-lifetime experience.

· Our Bridal Coordinator, Kathy Gilmore, is available to you from the planning stages throughout your ceremony, without extra charge. She will explain the simplicity of planning the "Wedding of Your Dreams" whereby you make all the important decisions, but leave the ORCHESTRATION to us.

· Our costs are self-explanatory in each package - there is no hidden cost or gratuity added - only sales tax. If none of our packages fit your desires, we will custom design a package especially for you.

· We provide a butler or hostess to greet guests and make them feel welcome.

· Our receptions include music and entertainment on different levels. We can provide basic background music or a melody host for dancing. Some packages include a professional Disc Jockey for dancing and entertainment.

· Convenient self-parking on premise and across from the estate with assistance of parking attendants. Some packages include valet parking.

· If you plan a garden or gazebo wedding and the weather betrays, we simply move indoors to our Chapel overlooking the gardens.

· We allow rice, bubbles or fresh rose petals on the grounds only. No birdseed or paper rose petals.

· Several suites of beautifully decorated dressing rooms are provided for the bride and her maids.

· Every bride loves staircases - there are six interesting stairways, which contribute to exciting photos.

· The bride may choose from two totally different settings. The Tiffany wing has formal seating for a meal. Our San Francisco wing is more informal for a mix and mingle reception. Both wings have access to our Grand Hall wedding chapel.

· The Southern Plantation, "Heaven on Earth", is one of the most frequently interviewed and photographed homes in this area. We have been featured on all TV channels, Houston Post and Chronicle, British Broadcasting Company in Europe and a movie has been filmed here. "Heaven on Earth" is a designated historic home. Your guests have the opportunity to see most of the home.
